Ben began his tennis career in Harlingen, Texas at Harlingen High School where earn rankings in Super Championship division.  He continued to play traveling throughout the US competing in various futures qualifying singles events and main draw doubles events.

Ben began teaching at the H.E.B Tennis Center in Harlingen. He later moved to The Clubs of River City in Peoria, Illinois for 6 years and has been at The Clubs of Kingwood for the past year and a half.
